Who would benefit from an Ev rider 3 wheeled TranSport
The EV Rider TranSport is a light-weight folding mobility scooter and it’s built for people below 250 lbs. It has two different versions, one with an automatic folding system and a remote and the other has a manual folding function and is delivered without the remote control.
Its folding capabilities are great and fully folded with the batteries attached it weighs around 60 lbs which are very light for a scooter that has 2 x 12v batteries and can go a distance of up to 18 miles.
The folding system is patented by EV Rider and is unique in its way of folding. This makes it take up little to no space in your home and you can easily stuff it away in the closet, back of your car, on the train or on an airplane.
Charger and batteries are UL Certified which gives you a higher security against battery malfunction than non-UL certified batteries and chargers. Also, it will definitely prevent fires and explosions like those which occurred to the early hoverboards.
Due to the fact that the batteries can be removed when folding, the actual lift weight gets lowered to 46lbs, giving the elderly seniors and those with limited arm strength the ability to easily take this electric medical scooter with them anywhere.
You can use the wheels to transport it even in its fully folded state, making it an excellent choice for those who would have a hard time lifting the scooter from the ground.
Riding experience
The EV Rider is a blast to have on any trip and it has such great mobility that you’ll never feel stuck again.
The maneuverability of the EV Rider is fantastic and you can almost turn around on a dime which makes it much easier to maneuver around the house, mall or ferry.
It has a moderate speed that might not be optimal for those who want a fast scooter. But it does make up for it in giving you a great distance per charge. You can go for hours without having to worry about running out of battery.
With the rear mounted motors, it pushes you around which may make it a bit unstable compared to the 4-wheel scooters, but they’ve sorted that out by adding a double front wheel which adds a little more stability to it.
In order to load it into a car, train or airplane all you need is to follow the 1, 2, 3-step process to get it into its fully folded state with ease. When fully folded the batteries can be removed.
Last words
EV Rider is best suitable for indoors or travel. It takes up literally no space at all while folded making it easy to stuff away even if you live in a small apartment. I would recommend it for those on a somewhat tighter budget who doesn’t reach all the way up to the price of a SmartScoot.
