Why buy the Hummer XL 4-wheel electric scooter as a mobility impaired adult?

The Tzora Titan Xl is a great and versatile mobility scooter and it shines the most when being used outdoors. It’s not an off-road model but it does work fairly good on packed dirt tracks. Built out of high-quality material and with its 4-wheels you get much better stability than with a 3-wheeld mobility scooter, hence it won’t be able to tip over.

It can be used on ramps or hills with a maximum of 8 degree’s incline which goes above and beyond the most common ramps.

With a decent speed of 6.8 mph, you can go up to 15.5 miles on a single charge and it can be broken down into two separate parts with the heaviest weighing only 59.5 lbs. Two adjustable speeds are available, turtle and rabbit, turtle is best used inside stores to limit the power and rabbit are for outdoor use. A good feature to have when using your scooter to go grocery shopping or when visiting places where small narrow spaces might be an issue.

The large tires and the full suspension are good, but not great. It gives you a small increase in comfort while riding on uneven ground so you can go enjoy the outdoors and an active lifestyle instead of being limited by your disabilities. But remember, if going off-road is a deal breaker for you, then there are more comfortable and off-road friendly mobility scooter available. These have larger tires and much better suspensions giving you excellent comfort no matter where you chose to go.

Comfort

The comfort of riding the Tzora Titan 4 Hummer XL are great and its features and ease of use make it a really good fit for most mobility impaired adults. That is why we considered it one of the better mobility scooters amongst the ones we reviewed.

The chair has a 22” well-cushioned seat and the height can be adjusted easily, as well as the armrests.

Yeah, sure you can double the price of the Hummer XL and get something like the Shoprider Sprinter which features an executive chair, or if you’re really picky about the comfort, Breeze S luxury. But, then you’d have to pay up to 5 times as much as for the hummer and within its price range, it is the superior scooter both comfort and riding wise.

The not so good things about it

We covered the benefits and how good the Hummer XL all terrain mobility scooter is, its time to talk about its downsides. All models have them, no unit is perfect for every situation or person.

In shopping malls, you’ll encounter no problems. However, since it’s a big mobility scooter you’ll find it a bit more difficult using it in your own home. If that’s a deal breaker you should go for something like the SmartScoot which excels in both indoor and outdoor usage. This scooter is for getting around with ease and comfort and isn’t ideal to use indoors even though it’s fully possible.

We tested it on various terrain and it did well on both gravel, dirt, and asphalt, but it did get a bit bumpy occasionally.
